Mindfulness and Meditation:
For the Real Estate Professional
Jon Kabat Zin, one of the pioneers of mindfulness in the U.S. describes mindfulness as “being aware,
moment to moment, without judgment, of ones bodily sensations, thoughts, emotions and
consciousness.” With practice over time, mindfulness meditation fosters a more profound relationship
with our thoughts, emotions and ultimately ourselves. To be a successful real estate professional, you
need to constantly improve your ability to solve tough problems. Your brain is the most important asset
you have, so finding ways to improve your mental function is one of the best ways to increase your
chances of success.
Meditation is a great way to do this – it’s proven over time to be incredible at improving your mental
capabilities and health. If you’re looking to function at your peak performance level, meditation can help
you stay on top of your game so you can help your prospects more effectively and close more deals.
Join Gary Goldman, Esq for a mindfulness practice and to hear how he has evolved and
transformed his personal and professional life with this mindful perspective.
Gary has become known as the “Mind-Body Lawyer”. He has trained at The Center for Mind-Body
Medicine and often shares his own personal experiences; his self-care healing techniques; and guides
meditation exercises for realtors, bankers and attorneys. Gary is the Community Outreach Coordinator
at The Blum Center for Health in Rye, NY where he also leads meditation and mind-body programs. Gary
has also often been a lecturer on Dr. John Sarno’s Healing Back Pain panels.
Gary will review the most common causes of chronic pain and review techniques for self-care, self-awareness,
and mindfulness to help manage and cope with stressors in your life.
Regardless if you have been practicing meditation for a while or have never done it before; learning to be
mindful can have a profound effect on how you live, feel, see, and communicate with others and the world
around you.
Participants routinely report feeling: less consumed by worry, less distracted, more present in their lives,
and an overall better sense of well-being.
He will specifically discuss the following benefits he derived from this work and has integrated into his
life:
- Improved relationships
- Enhanced communication
- Resolving conflict
- Public speaking
- Better negotiator
- Boost Focus and Stability
- Patience and Sustainability
- Creative brainstorming
- Wisdom
- Compassion and Empathy
- A Sensitive and Realistic Sense of Ethics

TESTIMONIALS
The class was wonderful. You explained the concept of mindfulness and meditation clearly. Sharing with the group how you were introduced to mindfulness and meditation because of the multiple issues you faced in life really helped us connect to your purpose. It is never easy to be a innovator and introduce a spiritual part of life to a group of professionals, but you did it and I’m certain your group will continue to grow. You took the first step, the rest will follow with ease.
Please count me in when and if you plan on doing more classes.
So great to see you the other night and the pleasure was all mine. I need to focus more on my well being, spiritually and physically. My arthritis has been getting the best of me lately. Yesterday afternoon I worked on the breathing technique’s you had us do the other night and I truly felt at peace with myself. I need to take this to the next level.
I thought this was your “calling” and I’m usually right with my “gut.”
I honestly can’t think of any suggestions but if I do I’ll let you know. This was my first group meditation because I’m really self-motivated. I thought you covered the subject extremely well- honest and passionately. You can help a lot of people but remember- you can lead a horse to water only!
I thought it was informative, you kept everyone engaged and the environment was friendly and welcoming. Wouldn’t change anything about it! You are the epitome of a successful, confident, experienced and mindful attorney — that in and of itself normalizes your affinity for wellness. #twocents
I put in on my Facebook page how wonderful it was and big thanks to you!!!
You were fabulous! I took back so much from your presentation! Stop. Think. Breathe.
I will highly recommend your lesson to all in the future!
