JASON L. MADFES
Jason L. Madfes was born and raised in Bayside, Queens, NY. A product of the New York City school system, Jason attended Brandeis University and subsequently YU-Cardozo School of Law. Jason has been practicing law for over 25 years.
Jason started out after Law School with the small boutique litigation firm now called Fixler & Associates. After leaving the litigation world, Jason worked for Fentin and Goldman, LLP as a staff attorney from 1998 to 2000. Thereafter, Jason was of Counsel to the firm from 2000 to 2014. Jason returned to the firm in 2014 and became a Partner in 2016. He was a Vice President and in-house Counsel for The New York Mortgage Company from 2000 to 2007. From 2007 to 2008 he was a Vice-President and in-house Counsel for the East Coast for Indymac Bank, F.S.B. In 2008 he started a solo legal practice. His practice concentrates on representation of lenders in all aspects of residential real estate financing.
Jason previously served on the Board of Trustees for Temple Sholom in Greenwich, CT. He also serves as a Board member for a small co-operative building in Manhattan. Jason has two children who both attend the University of Miami. He is also an avid Swatch enthusiast.
